Channel-4-Documentary "The Killing Fields of Sri Lanka” is nominated for Emmys Awards

The Channel-4-Documentary Film ‘No Fire Zone: The Killing Fields of Sri Lanka’ has been nominated for an award at the Emmys Awards to be hosted in the tonight’s Award Show in New York in the United States.
Emmys Awards has been established to honor excellence in TV programming. In this Emmy Awards, No Fire Zone: The Killing Fields of Sri Lanka documentary film has been nominated for the award.
No Fire Zone is an investigative documentary about the final weeks of the Sri Lankan Civil War. The documentary covers the period from September 2008 until the end of the war in 2009.
In March 2013, the documentary was screened by its director, Callum Macrae, at the 22nd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva.
