Will India ever learn any lesson from their past history,

Dear Friends,

This tube shows you the plight of Indian Tamils in Sri Lanka. These Tamils who formed 12.9 % of the population at the time of independence in February 1948 have now been reduced to 5%.

Within a year of independence in 1948 the first Sinhalese prime minister of Ceylon, Stephen Don Senanayake, disfranchised the the Indian Tamils and made them stateless and were told to go back to India. Shastri-Bandaranaike Pact of 1964 and  Sirimavo-Gandhi Pact of 28 June 1974 sealed their fate. About half of them returned to India and by 1990 most of their rest received their citizenship.

Our National Leader Prabhakaran set out to redress all the past crimes, but Sonia's India helped the Sinhalese to defeat the Tamils. The Chinese will support overseas Chinese when they are in trouble. The Americans will not allow Israel to be wiped out. The Muslims will help fellow Muslims, whatever be their race,  but Hindu Mother India will oversea fellow  pro-Indian Hindu Tamils to be annihilated by fanatical Sinhalese, who had all throughout their history been anti-India. This is not only the sad repetition of Indian history, but also the Indian leaders refer to Sri Lanka as a friendly country, though the Chinese have infiltrated Sri Lanka right up to the north. Will India ever learn any lesson from their past history, that led them to a thousand year subjugation by foreigners?

This attitude of India and also the attitude of other Tamils had led the Indian Tamils to their present plight, from which they are struggling to emerge. Please read on in the link.

Regards,
Visvanathan
