இரண்டாவது இராணுவ நீதிமன்றத்துக்கு எதிராக சரத் பொன்சேகாவினால் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்த மனு மீதான விசாரணை நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கென நேற்று புதன்கிழமை நீதிமன்ற வளாகத்துக்கு வருகை தந்த அவர் அங்கு கூடியிருந்த ஊடகவியலாளர்களை பார்த்தே இதனை கூறினார்.
இங்கு பொன்சேகா மேலும் கூறுகையில், பிரபாகரனின் குடும்பத்தினரை ஜனாதிபதி சிறந்த முறையில் பராமரித்து வருவதாக ஆளும் கட்சி எம்.பி. யான அஸ்வர் நேற்று (நேற்று முன்தினம்) பாராளுமன்றத்தில் தெரிவித்திருந்தார். ஆனால் எனது குடும்பத்தினரை ஓட ஓட விரட்டுகின்றார்.

People have to love their Home country unconsciously. How can the above general kill so many people inthe war for achieving freedom for Majority?

It was wrong to go for war and kill civilians for satisfying one's aggressive potential.

Ranil was more or less correct. I do not accept any killing of any Human under any circumstance.
