The attitude of the
Delhi Pundits towards the Tamils threaten the unity of India. The
Tamils, both in India and Sri Lanka, had always been pro-Indians. Now
their attitudes are hardening against Delhi. Antony, the
Indian Defense Minister, promised the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu that
India will not train any Sri Lankan soldiers on Tamil Nadu soil. The
Tamils now discovered that two Sinhalese officers, Commander Bandara Disanayake and Major Harishchandra Hettiarchige, were receiving specialised training In Wellington College in Tamil Nadu.
Hence this
protest by Naam Thamizhar Katchi was held in front of Defense Staff
Services College (DSSC). Many other parties were planning to conduct
similar demonstrations. In the face of these opposition, the Defense
Ministry withdrew these officers and wanted to place them in other
colleges outside Tamil Nadu. Rajapaksa will have none of this and asked
the officers to return home and they went back to Colombo.
The question is
why India couldn't keep its promise to Tamil Nadu that they will not
have any Sinhalese soldiers on Tamil Nadu soil? The reason is Delhi
Pundits are in a fix. As Natchiappan said if India doesn't give these
facilities to Sri Lanka, Rajapaksa will go to India's enemies, China and
Pakistan. So it doesn't matter whether the Tamils like it or not, India
will still train and arm the Sinhalese to prevent them from going over
to China or Pakistan.
India is today
in this mess, because of the irrational thinking of Sonia and her
advisers, including RAW. If she had allowed the Norway sponsored peace
between the Tigers and Sri Lanka in February 2002 to succeed, all these
problems could have been averted. Prabhakaran had already agreed by the
Oslo Declaration that he would be happy with a federal set up. What is
the need to help the Sinhalese to finish off the only protection the
Tamils had against the racialist Sinhalese, the LTTE and the Vanni
people, in Mullivaaikkal in May 2009?
The Basic
thinking in Delhi was that if the LTTE and its supporters were finished
off, the Tamil Nadu Tamils in India will not agitate to break off from
India. The other reason was Sonia's desire to take revenge for
the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi. The real schemers of Rajiv's murder
are walking free in Tamil Nadu. Vellusamy has written a book accusing
Chandraswami and Subramaniam Swamy of being involved in the murder.
Subramaniam swamy has in turn implicated Sonia Gandhi in the murder.
Only a retrial of the Rajiv Murder will reveal the truth. Please read
on.

More
than 100 members of the Nam Tamilar Katchi entered the defence area to
stage a protest just outside the Defence Staff Services College in
Wellington on Sunday. They wanted the DSSC to send back the two Sri
Lankan Army officers.
According
to sources, the protestors, who initially sought permission to stage a
protest in Coonoor, hoodwinked the police, and instead went to the
Supply Depot entrance to reach the defence area to protest.
The
sources said that the place from where the protestors raised slogans,
burnt Sri Lankan flag and argued with the police, who arrived late, was
within 300 m from the DSSC. The police were waiting for the protestors
at the Sam Maneckshaw Bridge, which was one-and a half km from the DSSC
entrance. But the protesters entered the Supply Depot to get close to
the defence establishment.
The
police went chasing and managed to contain the protestors just outside
the DSSC, the sources said and added that a little later the police
removed 150 persons, including four women.
In
another development Vaiko, while addressing a meeting by political
parties and outfits on 26 June 2013, condemned the Union government for
accommodating two Sri Lankan military officers, Commander Bandara
Disanayake and Major Harishchandra Hettiarchige, at the DSSC for 29 days
from May 27 for a 10-month training programme that began on June 3.
The Centre
hosted them despite opposition from various quarters, disregarding the
sentiments of Tamil people, especially after the island nation carried
out “genocide” in the name of a war against terrorism.
It was after
29 days and the announcement of a large-scale picketing protest, and
just a day before the scheduled agitation that the Centre sent back the
officers to Sri Lanka.
“Sri Lankan officials should not be accommodated anywhere in the country,” he added.
