International Human Rights organizations thoroughly condemn the human rights situation at SriLanka


International Human Rights organizations thoroughly condemn the human rights situation at SriLanka in the 24th UN Human Rights Council session in Geneva last evening.
Lawyers Rights Watch, Human Rights Watch, International Service for Human Rights, Amnesty International and the Liberation strongly criticizes human rights violations reported in SriLanka, Sugindhan Murugaiya , TGTE representative for United Nation said.
International human rights organizations expressed disappointment over threatening against people met UNHRC Commissioner Navaneetham Pillay on her recent visit to SriLanka, attacks carried out by the Lankan government against human rights activists in the country, threatening against Muslins and also they stressed to conduct international investigations on human rights violations reported in SriLanka.
Addressing the session representative of the Amnesty International said Law and order defeated in SriLanka and also urge to conduct international investigations on human rights violations committed by Lankan security personals.
Human Rights Watch stressed to follow international technical assistance to handel human rights issues in the country.
