55 thousand persons had filed petitions to taken action against Sri lanka


Reports states approximately 55 thousand persons had signed petitions and had submitted to the United Nation Council last week to hold independent war crime investigations in Sri lanka. Geneva information states, the International Amnesty Council Chairman Yolandra Bestiary had filed this petition.
Yolanda Bestiary while addressing the Human Rights Commission pointed out, until the human rights stain gets wipe out in Sri lanka, perfect unity will not prevail. She urged a neutral investigation should be conducted regarding war crimes and human rights violations in Sri lanka. Towards this, the United Nation Council’s Human Rights Commission should expedite activities which is necessary was pointed out by him.
